Mermaid Doll Pattern

This is a pattern and complete instructions for a 16" Mermaid Doll with knit cotton doll skin upper body, vest, and soft, cotton velour tail. 

Materials needed for Mermaid Doll:

• 1/2 yard of cotton knit doll skin fabric
•  fat quarter of cotton plush velour fabric
• 1 yard 1 1/2" wide inner head tubing
• 8 oz. bio wool stuffing
• skein of yarn for hair
• few yards craft thread for shaping head, skin and velour color threads
• embroidery thread in eye and mouth colors
• fabric or felt for vest

Tools needed for Mermaid Doll:

• 3" or 5" long soft sculpture doll needle
• sewing needles, pins, scissors
• optional but recommended: sewing machine
